Chloe is is an American singer-songwriter, record producer and actress. She is best known for being one half of the musical duo Chloe x Halle with her sister Halle Bailey. Together, they have earned five Grammy Award nominations since 2018. In 2021, she debuted as a solo artist with the single “Have Mercy”. Her first solo album In Pieces was released in March 2023, and its lead single “Pray It Away” was released on January 27, 2023.
In April 2022, Bailey released “Treat Me” with an accompanying music video as her second solo single. She explained that the inspiration for the song came after a breakup, when she thought, “‘It’s time for me to just give myself the love that I’m looking for.’
On January 24, 2023, she announced her debut solo album, titled In Pieces, which was released on March 31, 2023. She released the lead single from the album, “Pray It Away”, on January 27, 2023, and the second single, “How Does It Feel” featuring Chris Brown, on February 24, 2023.
