Rapper Gunna is facing as much as 150 years in prison, if he’s convicted of all the RICO charges brought against him by Atlanta’s Fulton County District Attorney.
But Media Take Out learned that his girlfriend, good girl singer Chloe Bailey, is prepared to stay with the rapper exclusively, even if he’s convicted.
We spoke exclusively with one of Chloe’s close friends who tell us that Chloe is “devastated” about what happened with Gunna. The friend told Media Take Out, “Chloe is going to hold [Gunna] down until he gets home.”
Chloe is clearly going through it. This is what she posted on her Instagram story today:
Gunna was charged in connection with 57 RICO related crimes. Media Take Out confirmed that the rapper is scheduled to turn himself in to the sheriff’s department tomorrow and is facing 150 years in prison.
Rumors began swirling about the two dating months before they confirmed their relationship to the public. The Atlanta rapper and “Have Mercy” singer had been linked since October 2021, when they were photographed together at a basketball game cheering on Gunna’s hometown Atlanta Hawks.
The team even tweeted a picture of the pair sitting in the crowd from their official account. But when Gunna was asked about the outing by Billboard a month later, he smiled and said cooly, “Yeah, we’re not dating. That was just, like, a date though, where you just go to the game and catch a vibe.”
In January 2022, Gunna and Chloe were spotted again, this time holding hands as they left a Lakers game in Los Angeles. In a video, viewed by Media Take Out, the two attempted to navigate the crowds as they left a hectic Crypto.com Arena.
Gunna officially confirmed that he and Chloe were dating while promoting his then-unreleased album on The Breakfast Club a week later. He explained that they’d connected after Gunna started “shooting [his] shot a little bit” and told Charlamagne, “We’re really close friends, we got a hit song together.”
Gunna also all but confirmed that their relationship is exclusive. “It wouldn’t be very [playa] of her, to take my time and waste it,” he said. “I, for sure, would keep it [playa] if she moved on, but I wouldn’t like that, no.”
