Last year, former RHOSLC star Mary Cosby faced criminal charges for harboring a minor.
Mary and her son, Robert Cosby Jr., were accused of unlawfully providing shelter to a runaway and contributing to the delinquency of a minor and were hit with misdemeanor charges…but they have been dropped.
Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office confirmed via Fox 13 that the charges against Mary were dropped and that her impending trial date has been voided.
“This motion is made upon the grounds that there are evidentiary concerns,” assistant Salt Lake City prosecutor Madison Barr wrote in her filing. Mary’s attorney, Stephen McCaughey responded to the filing, saying, “In this case, the right decision was made to dismiss it, and she’s happy with that.”
Mary left the show after she was accused of making racist comments about an Asian cast mate and about Mexicans. People were also grossed out by her marriage to her step-grandfather.
