Chicago rapper Lil Reese shared a message to fans on social media, telling them that his sister has died.
“Just lost my sister, I’m so hurt [broken heart emoji],” he wrote. “Love you 4eva [broken heart emoji].”
The rapper, nicknamed “The Grim Reaper,” received words of support from mhis fans online. He did not reveal how his sister passed away.

The rapper has come close to death more than once. In a recent interview with No Jumper, he chatted about being shot in his hometown in Chicago after a 55-year-old man tracked down his stolen vehicle and tried to take his truck back in 2019.
Lil Reese says the car was not stolen, and it was a case of mistaken identity.
“They was shootin’ from five lanes over,” he explained. “It’s goofy sh-t. They was five lanes over, shootin’ at my car, thinkin’ I was somebody else.”
Reese says the shooting changed his rap career for ever.
