Yesterday news broke that Good Morning America host TJ Holmes was caught having a relationship with his talk show co-host Amy Robach.
Well a little more than a year ago, the disgraced T.J. joked about giving his estranged wife, Marilee Fiebig, “plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities” to leave their marriage just before his and Amy Robach’s alleged affair.
In March 2020, Holmes posted a 10th anniversary tribute to the beautiful immigration lawyer, which has gone viral amid news of his alleged romance.
“10 years ago, Marilee Fiebig married me,” the former CNN anchor, 45, captioned throwback wedding photos at the time. “And despite my best efforts, she remained married to me the past 10 years.
“That’s not hyperbole. I’m not being dramatic,” the cheater continued. “I gave her plenty of reasons, excuses, and opportunities to walk her fine ass out the doooooooor.”
TJ, who shares a nine year old daughter, Sabine, with Marilee went on to praise the attorney’s “built-in black woman superpower” in showing him “grace and patience that’s incomprehensible.”
And there’s more. TJ added that “asking her for another 10 years would be asking too much,” calling 10 months “a stretch” and 10 weeks “lucky.”
The cheating anchor referred to himself as Marilee’s “decade challenge,” concluding, “If she puts up with me another 10 days, I’d be grateful.”
TJ’s reps are saying that he has decided to separate with Marilee, and is taking up a relationship with Amy, Media Take Out has learned.
