Charlie Sheen Agrees to Pay Ex-Wife Brooke Mueller $500k for Child Support!

Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller have finally wrapped up their child support battle, which went back more than a decade.

Sheen, 60, will pay his former wife $500,000 under a settlement approved by a Los Angeles judge on July 7, according to documents. The first $250,000 is due July 10, while the second half must be paid by Sept. 1.

The filing says the actor weighed “the risk of litigation and costs thereof” before deciding it was better to settle than face “the uncertainties associated with the litigation process.”

The deal resolves their dispute over child support debt and interest from March 2011 through July 1, 2026. Sheen must also pay $60,000 in Mueller’s legal fees by Oct. 15. The former couple share twin sons Bob and Max, now 17. Going forward, Sheen and Mueller, 48, will each cover the boys’ expenses while they are in their care.

Mueller filed a motion in December alleging that Sheen owed nearly $9 million in unpaid support and more than $6 million in accumulated interest. She claimed a 2010 order required him to pay $55,000 each month, but said payments became incomplete or stopped beginning in July 2011.

Sheen and Mueller married in 2008 and divorced in 2011 after a rocky relationship.

Mueller recently appeared in Sheen’s Netflix documentary, aka Charlie Sheen, where she spoke highly of him.

“Charlie really stepped up when my stuff was going dark. And it was really dark,” Mueller said in the doc. “He had all the reason not to be there for me, ‘cause when you’re not in your right mind, you become a terror for other people in your life. And now he’s taken the role of the one who is the responsible protector, especially with the boys.”
