Charlie Puth, who signed to Ellen Degeneres’ label more than a decade ago, says her label ghosted him.

“We both have different experiences, me versus Greyson. But I do agree with him that no one was present, certainly, after the creation of my first demo EP,” Puth told Rolling Stone Music Now. He signed the deal in 2011.

“Not putting any blame on one person, but from a collective … all the people that were in that room, they just disappeared. I didn’t hear from anybody.”

Even though she disappeared on him, he says she was never rude.

“People describe Ellen as rude. I’ve never experienced that,” he said before adding, “Maybe she likes me.”

Former labelmate Greyson Chance claimed she was rude and controlling when he was signed to her label.

Ellen was accused of running a toxic workplace and being mean to her staff and to some of the show’s talent. She denied the allegations but her show came to an end earlier this year.
