Charleston White Arrested Again in Texas on Drug Charges

Lyndon Abioye |

Charleston White was taken into custody in Tarrant County, Texas, on Oct. 4 and charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana.

The Fort Worth native, 49, faces one charge of possession of a controlled substance under one gram and another of possession of marijuana under two ounces, according to reports. Bond was reportedly set at $1,500 and $500, respectively.

Officials have not said what circumstances led to the arrest.

The booking is his third Texas arrest this year, following previous cases involving weapons and marijuana charges and comes just weeks after a separate arrest in Florida. White was arrested Sept. 12 by Hollywood Police on a misdemeanor Touch or Strike/Battery charge and booked into the Broward County Jail.

Following that arrest, a woman using the Instagram name “Kay Pretty” accused White of hitting her in the face and subjecting her to physical and emotional abuse.

“Saying I’m worthless and trying to throw me out of the house that we stay together at. I have a lot to say about Charleston, from abusing me physically, mentally, emotionally, financially, and spiritually, to stealing my money, my jewelry, my clothes, my bags,” Pretty Kay wrote at the time.

Police have not publicly said whether those allegations are connected to the criminal case.
