Charlamagne Tha God revealed the questions that Tyla’s team requested he not ask during her ‘Breakfast Club’ appearance on June 13.
According to Charlamagne, he was told to steer clear of these topics: her no longer touring with Chris Brown, Kai Cenat, a recent injury, comparing her to other artists, or identifying as “coloured.”
But he says he told the team he would not agree to avoiding these topics and told them that if she was not prepared to be asked about them, they should cancel the interview.
“I said to them, ‘No,'” he told Andrew Schulz on their Brilliant Idiots podcast. “I am not a d-ck sucker for record labels. I have a job to do, and my job is for the people.”

They need to media train her to be able to answer questions in a way that still allows her to control her narrative. That’s actually really annoying that they did that,” one viewer commented.
