Charlamagne tha God says he tried to warn DJ Khaled before Drake released a diss aimed at the producer on his new album trilogy, Iceman, Habibti and Maid of Honour.
During a recent episode of The Breakfast Club, Charlamagne reacted to Drake’s latest releases and specifically discussed the track “Make Them Pay,” where listeners believe Drake dissed Khaled over his silence regarding Palestine.
“Yeah, Khaled ain’t gon’ like this,” Charlamagne said during the broadcast.
The radio host then reminded listeners he had previously predicted the diss days earlier.
“Khaled, I tried to warn you three days ago that you was getting a big shot,” he added. “How can he respond?”
Khaled later appeared to address the situation indirectly through an Instagram caption posted Friday.
“LET GOD RISE AND ALL HIS ENEMIES SCATTER,” the producer wrote in part.
