Charlamagne Tha God has gone from condemning Diddy’s behavior to joking that the incarcerated mogul should weaponize his notorious party reputation.
The radio host delivered the jaw-dropping advice Wednesday after his Breakfast Club colleagues discussed Diddy’s reported clash with another prisoner at FCI Fort Dix.
DJ Envy argued that Diddy should tolerate the insults rather than do anything that might delay his return home.
“Diddy got about a year left, so he got to make sure he gets out,” Envy said.
Charlamagne imagined a different response. He joked that Diddy should drop his pants, offer to “get the party started” and brew homemade alcohol in a bathtub.
“That would scare the hell out of people,” Envy replied.
Charlamagne added that Diddy should be making the prison “a happy place for everybody,” while Jess Hilarious suggested he behave like The Joker, recalling the rapper’s 2022 Halloween costume.
The exact cause of the reported inmate dispute remains uncertain. Loren LoRosa said one account involved an insult about Diddy’s family, while another involved alleged cigarette smoking. She stressed that nobody with knowledge of the incident had agreed to speak publicly.
Charlamagne previously addressed Diddy with little humor. Following the release of video showing Diddy attacking Cassie Ventura, he accused the mogul and his associates of enabling abusive behavior.
“You can’t run from yourself,” Charlamagne said in 2024. “There’s nothing else for you to do other than deal with the consequences of your actions.”
Diddy is serving a 50-month federal sentence and appealing his prostitution-related convictions. The Bureau of Prisons currently lists February 20, 2028, as his projected release date.
