Ceddy Nash is speaking out after reports surfaced that Pooh Shiesty was arrested in connection with an alleged robbery involving Gucci Mane.
In a lengthy video posted after the news broke, Nash said he had warned people for months that trouble was coming.
“I told y’all it’s over,” Nash said repeatedly at the start of the video. “I told you.”
Nash reacted to allegations that Pooh Shiesty, whose real name is Lontrell Williams Jr., pulled a gun on Gucci Mane during a January meeting over his release from 1017 Records. Calling the situation “avoidable,” Nash claimed he had privately advised several rappers about how to stay out of legal trouble. “All of this could have been avoided,” he said. “If them would have just gave the damn jewelry back, none of this would have happened.”
Nash also spoke about Pooh Shiesty’s father, who was arrested alongside him.
“Your daddy in jail for nothing,” he said. “For being in the room.”
At several points, Nash appeared frustrated with the music industry and said he no longer wants to be connected to rappers.
“I don’t want to be cool with no rappers,” he said. “I’m really sick of this.”
Federal authorities have accused Pooh Shiesty and several others of kidnapping and armed robbery. He has not publicly responded to the allegations. They are facing life in prison.
