Nev Schulman, the host of the MTV reality show Catfish, revealed he was in a bike accident recently, which caused him to break his neck.
According to Schulman, he was on his way to pick up his son from school but hit the pavement and then woke up “alone and unconscious.”
“I never made it to pick up my son from school on the bike,” he wrote. “In fact in some ways, I’m glad I didn’t. I was alone on impact. Me and the truck. And then I guess the pavement. I was alone and unconscious. And then conscious.”
“I broke my neck. C5 and C6 to be exact. Stable fractures. I’m not paralyzed. My hands were a question mark there for a minute but the human body is incredible and so are HUMANS,” he continued.
He shared photos and videos of him in the hospital and X-rays showing the damage to his neck.
He assured his fans that he was facing no permanent damage.
