Today’s bail hearing for Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs was filled with drama. Media Take Out reported that on Tuesday, Diddy’s lawyer gave a statement about Cassie.
Diddy’s bail was denied yesterday, for the second time. And it was likely new testimony by Cassie, that is keeping him locked up.
Yesterday Marc Agnifilo claimed that the hotel abuse video was not about “kidnapping” or “trafficking”, but he suggested that Cassie and Diddy were fighting and that she was robbing Diddy of his items, causing the billionaire to lash out.
Well Cassie is now speaking out, through federal prosecutors. Cassie is not allowed to speak publicly about Diddy, as a result of the $30 million settlement she received.
But she is allowed to speak to federal prosecutors, and yesterday she did just that.
Cassie refuted Diddy’s lawyers claims – and prosecutors explained Cassie’s side of things in court today.
The prosecutor told the judge, “defendant submission filed today accuses the victim of extorting. He’s the only extorter … yesterday defense counsel called it a fight in a relationship. But it’s trafficking“
”The defendant had a freak-off on March 5, 2016. We have evidence there was one commercial sex worker there in the room, during the assault. She isn’t even wearing shoes. She is in danger. Defendant storms out in a towel,” The prosecutor added.
”We have a message from the Victim, I still have crazy bruising. He claims he wanted to get his clothes back,” Cassie told prosecutors yesterday.
“But that’s not what happened here. She tried to escape a room with the defendant and a commercial sex worker – she fled without shoes,” the prosecutor told the court.
”Immediately after the assault, the defendant sent these messages [to Cassie]: Call me, the cops are here. I got six kids. Yo, please call, I am surrounded. You gonna abandon me all alone. The defendant knew he had done something that could elicit police response”
The prosecutor then read a text Cassie sent to Diddy, during their relationship, “when you get f*cked up, you knock me around. I’m not a rag doll. I’m someone’s child.”
The prosecution continued, “We have witnesses who witnessed the injuries. This conduct happened behind closed door, in houses, hotel rooms and cars.”
Cassie clearly isn’t folding under pressure. It looks like Diddy is cooked.
After hearing Cassie’s account, he denied Diddy bail. He’ll have to sit in jail until trial.
