Media Take Out Staff |

Casanova, one of 18 people indicted in connection with gang-related crimes including racketeering, murder, drugs, firearms, and fraud offenses has taken a plea deal and pleaded guilty to various charges.

In November, Casanova pleaded not guilty to an attempted murder charge as his co-defendant is in talks to accept a plea deal.

Casanova and Jarrett “Jayecee” Crisler, got into an altercation with a member of the Crips outside of the King of Diamonds on October 24th. According to AllHipHop, the Crip took offense to the gang signs Casanova was flashing.

Crisler, a member of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation, then allegedly shot the gang member and his associate.

Casanova has claimed his innocence.

Casanova says he’s innocent: “I’m the same individual that went to city hall and housing projects with @ericadamsfornyc to speak to children and explain to them how shootings and gun violence isn’t the way of life,” he wrote.

He will be sentenced in December 2022 and faces up to 60 years in prison.
