A girl and her best friend may dress the same, or wear matching hairstyles. But Media Take Out has learned that – if Careesha and JT of the City Girls have anything to do with it – the new trend may be besties getting ‘matching’ BBL surgeries.
Media Take Out spoke with a person close to the City Girls who told us that JT and her best friend Careesha both got BBL surgery at the same time, and by the same doctor. Careesha’s friend told Media Take Out, “The surgeries were back to back, and it happened in Miami.”
The friend continued, “Both girls wanted the same look, and so they asked to have the same surgery and [liposuction] the fat out of the same places in both of them then re-inject it into the butts.”
“They even used the exact same amount of fat, transferred into each butt,” Careesha’s friend added.
And the result of the double BBL surgery . . . their bodies look almost identical. Look:
And here’s a video of the two ladies showing their matching bodies while moving:
The City Girls are a hip hop duo consisting of Yung Miami (born Caresha Romeka Brownlee) and JT (born Jatavia Shakara Johnson). The duo originate from Miami, Florida, and garnered attention after making an uncredited guest appearance on “In My Feelings”, the 2018 chart-topping single by Drake.
The duo signed to Quality Control Music, and later released their debut mixtape, Period (2018); as well as two studio albums: Girl Code (2018), which spawned the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) Platinum-certified US top 40 singles “Twerk” (featuring Cardi B) and “Act Up”; and City on Lock (2020).
