Cardi B is shutting down a rumor that a man hit her and knocked out her tooth.
The rapper addressed the allegation during an X Spaces livestream on Saturday, June 20, after an unnamed blogger allegedly spread the claim online.
“Why you lying and saying that a n—a touched me and knocked my [tooth] out?” Cardi said. “A n—a never even laid a nail on me. I don’t play that domestic violent bulls–t.”
Cardi said the rumor upset her because violence is not something she treats lightly. During the stream, she spoke about growing up around difficult relationships, but said her father never hit her mother.
“My dad never hit my mom,” she continued. “Even when my mom used to beat the s–t out of him in front of us, you know what my dad used to do? Walk away.”

The Grammy winner said she later experienced violence in a relationship and vowed not to accept it again.
“That’s one thing that I say I will never in my life tolerate that again,” she said.
Cardi also pushed back on the tooth allegations, pointing to her veneers and saying her smile has looked the same for years.
“Go ahead and prove it,” she said. “Post the day when that happened.”
She also accused the blogger of discussing photos of her baby son, calling the behavior “sick and twisted.” Cardi welcomed the child with Stefon Diggs in November 2025. The couple split, but reports have surfaced that they have rekindled their romance… this is yet to be confirmed. The rapper is also still technically married to Migos rapper Offset, although they are in the process of divorcing.
