Cardi B and Offset are still getting a divorce despite a video that surfaced this week showing the pair celebrating the 86th birthday of the New York rapper’s grandmother together.
In the video, Offset is seen dancing with Cardi’s relatives, and fans speculate that they may be getting back together.
On Instagram Live, Cardi explained to her fans that even though they are separated, they still have to co-parent their children and will have to be in each other’s lives. She also says that she does not wish to destroy Offset’s career as she is the father of her children and they share financial responsibilities.
“I don’t really want to hurt my baby father’s career. I have a nanny. The nanny’s $700 an hour. Count that up and see how much. And that’s for one baby,” she said.
“My kids’ school is $45,000 a year. And I already got two of them in the school. You think I pay that alone? Absolutely not. I don’t want my baby daddy to go broke or nothing, ’cause guess who help over here? You can leave, but you gonna help with these muthaf-cking kids.”
Cardi went on to deny that their split is part of a publicity stunt to sell music.
