The last time Cardi B and Nicki Minaj were face to face – a brawl occurred, and Cardi left with a bunch of knots on her face.
Media Take Out confirmed that on Monday night at the Met Gala, Cardi B and Nicki Minaj came face-to-face again – and no one was certain what was going to happen.
So here’s the tea. First off, the people who put together the seating chart for the Met sat Cardi And Nicki right next to each other, and they also put up the two beauties at the same hotel. It’s almost like the organizers were trying to provoke some type of Oscars/Will Smith moment to generate publicity.
But the first time that the two laid eyes on each other was right before the dinner started, when Cardi B passed Nicki. According to one of Media Take Out’s sources at the event, Nicki Minaj was visibly spooked.
The insider claims that Cardi stopped, looked Nicki dead in her face and Nicki flashed a nervous smile. Cardi then – according to the insider – returned a sarcastic smile and walked away
The insider told us that Cardi spent most of her time, hanging with friends Normani and Meg Thee Stallion, and whenever any of the three ladies got close to Nicki, the Queens rapper started behaving awkwardly and burying her face in her phone, not looking up.
Here’s a man whose boyfriend attended the event, spilling tea. He claims that while Cardi and Nicki were “cordial,” he points out that after the gala, Nicki has thrown shade at both Cardi B AND Megan thee Stallion on Twitter.
