Cardi B Reveals She’s Taking HIV Prevention Drug PrEP — Says “Everybody Needs To Be On It”

Media Take Out has learned that Cardi B is once again shaking up the internet — this time, by revealing that she’s taking the HIV-prevention medication PrEP, and urging all women to do the same.

The Bronx-born rap superstar made the revelation while she’s facing rumors about her baby’s father, who’s recently been accused by a former friend of being a “downlow man.” While Cardi hasn’t confirmed or denied the rumors, she made it clear that she’s protecting herself — and thinks every woman should, too.

“Everybody’s F***in’ Everybody”

In her now-viral rant, Cardi went on an unfiltered tirade about the current dating and hookup culture, claiming that no one is truly safe anymore. “Everybody’s fin’ everybody,” Cardi said. “B**hes is f***in’ each other, dudes is f***in’ each other — everybody’s f***in’ everything.”

She went on to explain that the world of relationships — especially among celebrities, athletes, and influencers — is filled with hidden behaviors, infidelity, and risky sexual encounters. “You might think your man got standards … but once a guy gets a little bit of money, he can buy all the p***y he wants,” she said.

Cardi didn’t stop there. She went on to expose the “industry girls” she says are living double lives — calling out women who present themselves as “models” or “influencers,” but who are secretly escorting overseas. “You think she’s a model? She’s getting sh***ed on in Dubai,” Cardi said bluntly.

Cardi’s Message: Protect Yourself

Amid all the chaos, Cardi’s message was surprisingly clear — women need to protect themselves, and that means taking control of their health. She explained that she’s now on PrEP, a medication that dramatically reduces the risk of contracting HIV.

“People say, ‘Oh that’s for the gays,’” Cardi said. “But why do you think the gays don’t have it and aren’t STD’d down? They’re on PrEP! Everybody else needs to start taking it too. It’s for everybody.”

Cardi went on to address critics who worry about the potential side effects, such as kidney or liver issues. In her trademark raw style, she said, “I’d rather have my liver and kidneys f***ed up than my p***y. You can live with one kidney — but you only got one p***y.”

Cardi Keeps It Real — Whether You Like It Or Not

As usual, Cardi’s comments have divided social media. Some fans praised her for being open about sexual health and using her platform to break down stigma around PrEP. Others accused her of being too vulgar and “oversharing.”

But one thing is certain — Cardi’s unfiltered honesty has once again sparked a national conversation.

Love her or hate her, she’s using her voice to tell women to stop being naïve and start being proactive — because in Cardi’s words, “People out here worried about their kidneys while their man’s d*** is raw and full of blisters.”

Once again, Cardi B keeps it brutally real — and that’s why she stays the most talked-about woman in hip hop.
