Candiace Dillard Bassett announced she will be exiting The Real Housewives of Potomac after six seasons on the show.
Candiace has been focusing more on her music, radio hosting and movies for the past few seasons of the show.
“As I embark on a new chapter after six remarkable years with The Real Housewives of Potomac, I am filled with gratitude for the enriching friendships, personal growth and moments of introspection that have defined this journey. With a whirlwind of new opportunities and responsibilities on my plate, I have decided to take a break from RHOP,” she added before telling her fans that “this is not a farewell.”
Candiace has had some huge clashes since joining the show. Her beef with Monique Samuels saw Monique exit the reality series. Recently, she and Gizelle Bryant fell out after Gizelle claimed her husband Chris Bassett made her feel “uncomfortable” when he allegedly tried to talk to her in her changing room.
Candiace and Chris are also trying for a baby.
