Far-right commentator Candace Owens’ YouTube channel has been suspended for a week, and her videos have also been demonetized after her interview with Kanye West and her recent debate with Rabbi Shmuley.
The streaming platform has also given her three strikes for violating hate speech policies.
In her “Kanye West (Ye) x Candace Owens | Candace Ep 42,” the video received a takedown notice for “claims that Jewish people control the media,” which violated the platform’s terms as “YouTube does now allow content containing conspiratorial claims that individuals or groups are evil, corrupt, or malicious based on their protected group status.”
Owens shared that she received three back-to-back emails saying that her videos were being taken down.
Soon after, she received a fourth email informing her that her channel had been completely demonetized, meaning that even after her suspension is over, she could not make money on the platform.
There will be no show today, or at all this week. That’s because @YouTube has issued me a strike and a one week suspension for my sit down with Kanye. They also removed the interview as “hate speech”, as it was mass reported by Zionists.

Owens’ rep slammed the decision, calling it a “threat to free speech when people can mass report a page and get someone banned–even if they didn’t break the rules. Today, the opponents of free speech are targeting Candace, but anyone could be next. This is targeted harassment, and YouTube does nothing about it.”
