Cam’ron weighed in on Jay-Z not performing at any Hip-Hop 50th anniversary events last year.
According to the Dipset rapper, Jay loves Hip-Hop but he loves money more.
“I believe that Jay-Z, in my personal opinion, is not in love with hip-hop. I think he likes hip-hop a lot. I think he likes money more and opportunities to take his brand to the next level, and some of the stuff that may have been going on with hip-hop 50th may not have been up his alley,” he said on his It Is What It Is podcast with Ma$e.
Cam’ron’s take comes after Antonio Brown posted a Tweet originally shared by @checktherhyme1_ slamming Jay for performing at Tom Brady’s Patriots Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
“Jay didn’t perform at any Hip Hop 50 concerts last year where the fans would’ve known every word to his songs, but he makes time to get ignored by rich folks smh,” he shared.
