Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer series is one of the hottest action trilogies out…but Cam says it’s time for the actor to slow down.

Fans are waiting for a fourth installment of the franchise to be released but it has not been confirmed.

Washington is nearly 70 (he’s 69) and Cam does not want another movie.

“I’m not watching Rocky beat Rambo at 78 years old, man. I’m not watching that, bro. I refuse,” he said on his It Is What It Is podcast.

“I love Denzel Washington as an actor; I’m not watching him do karate at 71 years old and all that. I love him, he’s a great actor, but when n-ggas start doing karate in they 70s, I can’t believe the movie. I can’t fuck with Denzel being the Equalizer at 70,” he added.

Cam may feel that way but the numbers don’t lie.

The first movie from the franchise, The Equalizer was released in 2014 and grossed $101 million domestically and $192 million worldwide. The Equalizer 2 debuted in 2018 andgrossed $102 million domestically and $191 million worldwide. The Equalizer 3 has grossed $92.4 million in the United States and Canada, and $98.7 million in other territories, for a worldwide total of $191.1 million.
