Cam’ron recalled a time he has to shell out nearly $5 million to bail out two of his friends from jail after his Dipset tour bus was searched by authorities.

The search occurred after officers were called to the scene following a reported shootout.

“The cops pulled the tour bus over like…the end of Set It Off when Cleo was about to run through the barricade with all the cops,” he said of the 2003 New England incident. “They had like 92 cop cars out there!”

“They pull us off the tour bus talking about, ‘Yo, somebody’s car windows got shot out,'” Cam continued, adding that he told the officer he had no idea what was happening.

After standing outside of the tour bus in the freezing cold, the officers asked if they were “gangstas,” because of the song title “Gangsta Music” which was emblazoned across the side of the bus.

Juelz Santana was nowhere to be found, but officers ascertained that shots were fired from the bus.

“Now they lock two of my n-ggas up, I start talking sh-t,” he recalled. “‘I don’t care what the bail is, I’m bailing n-ggas out.’ The bail was $4.8 million. Oh my God, I was sick. But I bailed n-ggas out, though, and everybody was good.”
