Caitlyn Jenner has a new job as a contributor for Fox News.
She will first appear on Hannity on Thursday.
“Caitlyn’s story is an inspiration to us all. She is a trailblazer in the LGBTQ+ community and her illustrious career spans a variety of fields that will be a tremendous asset for our audience,” Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott said in a statement.
Jenner added, “I am humbled by this unique opportunity to speak directly to Fox News Media’s millions of viewers about a range of issues that are important to the American people.”
Caitlyn came out as trans in 2015. She then ran for California governor where one of her main campaign talking points was against trans women in sports.
“I just want to say, I have never been against Lia Thomas, she actually played within the rules.” Jenner said. “Was it fair? No, it wasn’t fair. It’s not a fair fight. The problem is the NCAA and the rules, they really need to take a serious look about what’s happening in women’s sports. And they have to make it fair. I have been, from the beginning, out to protect women’s sports. I haven’t been out to protect transgender athletes. But this is not an easy — it’s a tough subject. There is no one answer that fit everything.”
