Buffalo Bills star linebacker Von Miller has been suspended four games for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy.

The athlete will not be allowed back on the field until October 28 after the Bills’ Week 8 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The NFL said the athlete was being benched for violating its personal conduct policy but did not say why.

Many speculate that the suspension stems from an alleged domestic violence incident involving the Super Bowl 50 MVP in Dallas last November.

The alleged assault went down on Nov. 29. Miller allegedly pushed his then-pregnant girlfriend and held her neck with pressure for about 3 to 5 seconds as she yelled,” Stop, I’m pregnant.”

After the incident, Miller turned himself in to the Glenn Heights Police Department the following day on an arrest warrant for a charge of third-degree felony assault of a pregnant woman. He denied the allegations.

“Me and my girlfriend, we have problems just like any other couple does but there has never been any of those things that was alleged against me. Hopefully, over time all of this stuff will get cleared up,” he said at the time.
