Real Housewives of New York star Brynna Whitfield had a tough ride last season but seems not to have learned her lesson and, in a recent interview, threw a lot of shade at all of her castmates.
“I’m the only one that works a full-time job on my cast,” she said and then pointed out, “We have influencers, we have models, we have art curators,” she said, obviously referring to Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, and Racquel Chevremont
Brynn continued, “We have people that did work at J. Crew three years ago, but now they’re just like honorary positions,” an apparent jab at Jenna Lyons.
She also took aim at Erin Lichy, saying, “We have a real estate agent that hasn’t sold a house in seven years. They’re all very successful and making money” but noted, “They’re not doing the boring a– job that most of America, we all do, which is 9 to 5.”
Brynn says that, by comparison, her job is less glamorous, and that’s why the Brovo cameras didn’t choose to film her in her working environment.
“I sit at a desk and I make decks and I go on Zoom calls. There’s nothing glamorous about that. The show doesn’t want to shoot that. It’s just me brainstorming with my dog, bouncing ideas. Consulting is not glamorous. It pays well, but it’s not glamorous,” claiming that’s why her job and work weren’t filmed and shown.”
Brynn faced backlash last season after she accused castmate, Ubar Hassan, of sl*t shaming her, knowing she had been sexually assaulted in the past.
It later came out that Ubar did not know about the incident.
The Housewives first sided with Brynn after Ubar called her a “wh*re,” but when Ubar was told about the assault by another Housewife, she broke down in tears and shared that she had no idea about the incident, and that’s when Brynn finally admitted that Ubar may hadn’t “clocked the situation,” angering the other Housewives as they had given Ubar a hard time.
