The Brooklyn preacher who was made famous after being robbed during a live-streamed church service is going viral again – this time for choking a woman during yesterday’s live-streamed church service, Media Take Out has confirmed.
Bishop Lamor Whitehead was arrested after he laid hands on a woman who he claims “disrupted” his Sunday service live-stream.
The man of God can be seen grabbing the woman by her neck and shoving her toward his security after the woman called him a scammer while the pastor was delivering his sermon.
The woman, Tarsha Howard, was also arrested and charged with trespassing and disrupting a religious service.
Both Bishop Whitehead and the woman were released from jail, without posting bond.
According to online reports, which Media Take Out obtained, two women walked into Bishop Whitehead’s Canarsie church and after sitting quietly and listening to his sermon – became triggered by something the Bishop said and began heckling him.
Footage from the Bishop’s lives-stream shows him in a custom tailored suit and delivering his message, while the women can be heard heckling him in the background.
Bishop Whitehead tried to drown out their criticism of him – by speaking in tongues as the women continued to yell. But at one point, it appears the Bishop had enough. As Media Take Out observed in the video, the pastor confronted the women and asked them to leave his church.
As one woman walked past him, he grabbed her neck area and shoved her hard. Watch:
