Brittany Cartwright says Lori Krebs waited until two hours before photos of her vacationing with Jax Taylor went public to reveal that their relationship had turned romantic.
“Lori sent me a text message, morning of, two hours before the TMZ photos came out,” Brittany, 37, said Wednesday on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.
According to Brittany, Lori told her that “things had changed” and admitted she knew Brittany would feel betrayed. Lori also allegedly said she loved Brittany and her 5-year-old son, Cruz.
“Come on,” Brittany told Andy Cohen.
The warning came as photos surfaced of Jax, 47, and Lori together at a resort in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Jax later appeared to confirm he was in a relationship by replying to an Instagram user, “No thanks I am taken.”
Brittany said the news was especially painful because Lori was still working for her at the time.
“She was still my publicist,” Brittany said. “She was still getting a retainer from me. She was still making 10% of things for me.”
She also rejected claims that the two women had not been close, saying Lori had attended WWHL with her in April and had recently been invited to her home.
“I don’t care if Jax dates someone,” Brittany said. “It’s what she did!”
A source close to Lori said their friendship had faded, while Jax accused Brittany of telling “blatant lies.”
