KSI is officially hanging up his boxing gloves, ending years of speculation about whether he would ever step into the ring again.
The 33-year-old YouTuber and Misfits Boxing co-founder announced his retirement ON Saturday at London’s Copper Box Arena, confirming his days as an active fighter are over. The announcement comes nearly three years after KSI suffered his first professional boxing defeat against Tommy Fury in October 2023.
He has not competed since.

Known to fans as “The Nightmare,” KSI’s videos have attracted millions of viewers. He was formerly a member of the UK YouTuber crew The Sidemen, but made headlines after he walked away, calling himself the “Beyoncé of the group” and boasting he could get more views than his former friends and even surpass Mr. Beast’s success.
There had long been talk about a possible match between KSI and Jake Paul, but never materialized.
During an event featuring Joey Essex and comedian Dapper Laughs, he announced he’d signed former UFC fighter Michael “Venom” Page and would face longtime rival Joe Weller. KSI will continue his work with Misfits Boxing, the promotion he helped establish alongside Mams Taylor and other partners.
