British Actor Noel Clarke Arrested on Attempted R*pe Charge!

British actor Noel Clarke has been arrested in connection with allegations stemming from incidents reported to have occurred more than a decade ago.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that a man in his 50s was taken into custody on Feb. 10 on suspicion of attempted rape, exposure, and sexual assault by touching. Authorities say the investigation relates to an alleged incident in London in 2007 involving a woman in her 20s. Clarke was questioned by detectives and later released on bail while inquiries continue.

Police also confirmed that Clarke was interviewed in relation to a separate voyeurism allegation tied to an alleged 2013 incident. He had previously been arrested in September 2025 in connection with that claim. “The man was bailed pending further inquiries and the Met’s investigation continues,” a spokesperson said in a statement.

The inquiry is being handled by the Metropolitan Police’s central specialist crime command. Investigators searched Clarke’s Kensington property last year as part of the ongoing case.

Clarke has consistently denied allegations made against him over the years. In 2021, multiple claims about his behavior were published by The Guardian. Clarke later brought a defamation case against the outlet, which the newspaper successfully defended in court.

Once a prominent figure in British television and film, Clarke rose to fame on Doctor Who and later found success behind the camera. His career stalled following the public allegations, with professional honors suspended in recent years.

The investigation remains ongoing.
