Peter Thomas from the Real Housewives Of Atlanta was criminally charged for allegedly getting into a physical altercation last February with a woman inside his restaurant ‘Bar One’ in Baltimore. And Media Take Out learned has that the alleged victim claimed that the reality star grabbed her by the throat and “choked” her.
Well, Peter was found NOT GUILTY at trial yesterday. He posted about it on Instagram.
Tammy Rivera spoke out about it, and claims that Peter should have been found guilty. Look:
The alleged victim, Chanel Williams, told police that she was in Peter’s restaurant with her friends, and Peter looked to be extremely drunk. The woman claims that she then made a comment about his condition to her friends.
According to Chanel, she claims that Peter overheard the comment – because they were in the same section – and got in his feelings about it.
Chanel told police that Peter flew into a rage, and started grabbing her throat aggressively. Chanel claims that she was in such distress that she begged the Bar One staff to get Peter off of her, which they did.
Chanel claims that she was distraught and embarrassed, and says that she was physically injured by Peter’s alleged actions.
Chanel, Media Take Out has learned, also has ties to the reality world. She is the niece of Tammy Rivera, the former cast member of the hit reality show, Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
Peter was charged with assault in the second degree.
