Raquel Leviss has not began filming with the Vanderpump Rules staff but according to a new report, Bravo is still in negotiations with the star.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Alex Baskin said that his team was still having “ongoing conversations” with her. “I imagine there will be an update fairly soon. But, for now, we’re still in dialogue with her.”
Raquel faced heavy backlash for her affair with Tom, who was the 9-year partner of her best friend, Ariana Madix. Despite the affair, Tom and Raquel are not a couple.
“Tom and Raquel never put a label on their relationship to begin with,” a source told PEOPLE. “After their affair was exposed and the blowback they received, they said that before defining things, they needed to take time to address the issues in their own lives that drove them to this in the first place. And that’s where things still are.”
In June, when the rest of the cast had signed on, reports circulated that Raquel had still not signed on the dotted line.
