Bravo Says Brit Eady Is Trying to “Rewrite History” in $20 Million Lawsuit

Bravo is determined to hold on to its coins and is pushing back against a $20 million lawsuit filed by former The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member Brit Eady, arguing that she understood the nature of the show before signing on.

Brit, who appeared for one season, previously alleged she experienced sexual harassment and emotional distress during filming. Her claims stem from a tense on-camera moment involving co-star Kenya Moore, who displayed explicit images she initially claimed were of her, only to later deny that she was the woman in Kenya’s grand salon reveal.

In new legal filings, the network is disputing those accusations.

“This is an attempt to rewrite history,” Bravo stated, adding that Brit “knew exactly what she signed up for” when joining a series known for conflict and unscripted moments.

The company also cited her contract, which outlined the possibility of “provocative conduct or speech” and warned participants that production could involve emotionally challenging situations.

Bravo further argued that Brit was not misled about the environment and noted she was invited to return after her debut season but chose not to.

Meanwhile, Kenya was previously suspended following the incident and has not returned to the show. Fans initially thought she would return to the show, but Bravo shot down any hopes of her making a comeback anytime soon.

The network is asking a judge to dismiss the case as it moves through the legal process.
