Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville has revealed why her longtime friendship with Kim Richards ended…Brandi says it’s because of Kim’s alcohol addiction.
Kim, who relapsed earlier this year, was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold and taken to a hospital after being heavily intoxicated and refusing to leave the premises. After being released from the hospital, she went to stay with her sister, Kyle Richards, who ended up booting her from her California home following Kim’s falling off the wagon.
“This makes me sad but ultimately it’s what Kim needs,” Brandi told Celebuzz. “Her addiction issues caused the end of our friendship. I hope she finally gets the help she has needed for so long.”
Kim was left homeless last year after her home suffered a flood and all of her personal belongings were destroyed.
“I had to move out, I had to go somewhere, and I didn’t know where to go, and it was a lot,” she told Access Hollywood.
