Brad Pitt Wants THREE MORE Years of Angelina Jolie’s Money Records

Brad Pitt wants Angelina Jolie to hand over three additional years of financial records as their battle over Château Miraval moves closer to trial.

In a July 31 court filing, Pitt’s attorneys accused Jolie of withholding documents detailing her income from 2017 through 2019. His team said she previously provided financial information for 2020 and 2021.

The dispute centers on Jolie’s claim that she sold her share of the French winery to gain “financial independence” from Pitt after their 2016 separation. Pitt argues that statement makes her finances relevant to the case. Jolie’s attorneys strongly disagree, calling his argument “a made-up theory that Jolie did not allege.”

“Jolie does not allege that she was seeking financial independence in the abstract,” her legal team wrote. “She alleges that she was seeking ‘financial independence from her ex-husband.’”

Her lawyers said ending financial ties with Pitt is different from claiming she was experiencing financial hardship. They also called his request for older records “a serious invasion of Jolie’s privacy rights.”

Pitt sued Jolie in 2022 after she sold her stake in Château Miraval to an investment firm without his approval. The pair purchased the estate in 2008 and married there in 2014. Since then, four of Pitt’s children have filed to remove his last name, seemingly siding with Jolie legally.

The case is expected to go to trial in August 2027.
