Boxer’s Toupee Knocked Off Mid-Fight in Shocking Ring Moment!

Jarrell Miller delivered one of boxing’s most unexpected viral moments when his hairpiece came off mid-fight during his bout against Kingsley Ibeh at Madison Square Garden.

The heavyweight clash took place on the undercard of Teofimo Lopez and Shakur Stevenson’s title event, marking Miller’s first appearance since his 2024 draw with Andy Ruiz Jr. But it was not the punches alone that stunned fans. In the second round, Ibeh landed a series of shots that appeared to knock Miller’s toupee loose. The hairpiece flapped as the fighters exchanged blows, prompting gasps from the crowd.

DAZN commentator Chris Mannix summed up the shock, saying, “I’ve never seen anything like it in boxing.”

Rather than panic, Miller leaned into the moment. When the round ended, he removed what remained of the toupee and tossed it into the audience, drawing loud cheers. Even Ibeh looked surprised by what had just happened.

Miller later explained the situation in his post-fight interview. “I nearly lost my hair like two days ago,” he said. “So I called my manager and said, ‘Let me slap that on my head real quick.’ And he slapped that s— off.”

Despite the distraction, Miller went on to win a narrow split decision. He laughed about the incident afterward, adding, “I’m a comedian. You’ve got to make fun of yourself. You can’t take life too seriously sometimes. You’ve got to roll with the punches.”
