Boosie Badazz will have to wait another 60 days before he can see his fiancee.
Last year, Boosie was ordered not to make contact with his fiancée since the beginning of his federal trial in June 2023, Courthouse News states.
Boosie’s attorneys argued that the order did not make sense as his fiancee is not a witness in the case and was not in California during the rapper’s May 2023 arrest.
The judge seemed to agree but still ruled that Boosie and Rahel Nelson were to remain apart for an additional 60 days. He added that if the prosecution has no further objection, the stay-away order will be lifted.
Boosie Hatch initially faced charges for being a felon in possession of a firearm after he was arrested in a traffic stop where police said they found him and another individual he was traveling with two loaded handguns in their car. He was then spotted on an Instagram Live with a weapon, despite being instructed to stay away from firearms.
