Boosie Badazz is urging Fentanyl addicts to leave the drug alone and to use crack instead because they will live longer.
“Ay, check this out, it’s too many people dying in 2022 fucking with fentanyl. If you gon be an addict you might need to go back to crack. Crackheads live longer than anybody, you still see them around,” Boosie said in a video posted to social media.
He continued: “That fentanyl sh-t is way stronger. If you can’t shake it, go back to crack. You gon be funnier [and] you gon live longer. Food for thought.”
Fentanyl is a very potent synthetic opioid used as a pain medication. It is 80–100 times more potent than morphine. According to the CDC, we lost over 107,000 Americans to overdoses in 2021, largely driven by fentanyl.
In the comments, people slammed Boosie for giving out such bad advice and some questioned what kind of drugs the rapper was smoking to be encouraging people to smoke crack.
