Boosie Badazz says he was surprised that Keefe D was finally arrested for the murder of late rapper Tupac Shakur.
Keefe D spoke openly about his presence that night of the murder but always denied pulling the trigger.
“[I was] kind of [surprised], because he been talking about it. And I thought, when he got busted or whatever, that he had immunity. So when he got arrested, I was like, immunity must be f-ckin’ gone… I thought he’d never get arrested for it. I thought if you get immunity, it’s done,” Boosie said.
Duane “Keefe D” Davis, was charged in September over the killing in Las Vegas. Last week, he denied the charge of murder with a deadly weapon with the intent to promote, further or assist a criminal gang.
if found guilty, he will not be receiving the death penalty.
“We talked about it, and I determined that it’s not a case in which we should seek the death penalty,” Clark County District Attorney Steve Wolfson said.
