Boosie Badazz is in South Florida supporting YNW Melly as his trial for double murder begins.
Boosie made good on a promise he made earlier this month.
“I’m going to his trial to support him,” Boosie told XXL. “I talked to his mom the other night. I’m going to support Melly. I was on a plane with Melly one day in the airport with him. We was in the airport, and he took his credit card out. He ain’t let me buy nothing, bro. He bought all my food, my magazines. All through the airport he like, ‘OG, you ain’t spending no money.’ So, I’m going to support that little n-gga, dawg.”
Boosie shared a video of him walking in the venue.
“@ynwmelly TRIAL!!!!” he wrote in the caption. “Opening Day.”
Melly’s attorney kicked off his opening statements by discrediting the prosecution’s case.
“What [prosecutors] will bring you is a case that is riddled with reasonable doubt, that is founded on an incompetent and incomplete investigation and exercised poor judgment at every turn,” David Howard told jurors. “The state cannot prove beyond a reasonable doubt the allegations they have made, and there’s a reason for that.”
