Boosie Badazz believes the older generation is hating on the younger generation of rappers because they are making a lot of money.
“I don’t see how people can’t be happy for [them] unless you not happy in life,” Boosie said. “N-ggas just gotta stop hating, everybody gets their time to shine. Just like they f-cked up, most of ’em gonna f-ck up the same way. When people do that, I think they should just stand up and say, ‘I f-cked up.’ I think it be more on the older guy not having right now to sh-t on the younger artist.”
Boosie also said that in 2022, a Drake verse holds more weight than a Jay-Z verse.
In 2020, Boosie showed support to Drake by calling out Kanye West during his beef with the Canadian rapper.
