Boosie Badazz Reevals The Down Side To Being A Gangster

Tiffany Brockworth |

Boosie Badazz has respect in the streets, but the rapper hopped on social media to warn the youth against committing their lives to the streets.

“Don’t never become no street n-gga. Don’t never become no gangsta, bruh. Always gotta have n-ggas with you, always gotta be tryna protect yourself, looking over your shoulder. Sh-t don’t even be worth it, bruh. You get older, you be like damn man. A lot of sh-t come with this sh-t,” he says in the clip.

He continued: “That’s the only thing that matter, bruh…staying alive. This ain’t the life you want though, dog. All y’all young n-ggas out there…this ain’t the life you want.”

And Boosie knows what he is talking about. On November 29, 2011, Boosie was sentenced to eight years in state prison after pleading guilty to the drug charges. On May 11, 2012, a jury found Boosie not guilty of first-degree murder. He was released on March 5, 2014 and remained on parole until 2018.
