Boosie Badazz hopped on Instagram Live to address Kanye West’s shady response after Boosie called him out for claiming to have invented every genre of rap.
“I just saw that Wipe Me Down was made in 2007. I take no responsibility for whatever that genre would be called,” Ye wrote.
“You know how many rappers I raised out there bro, who don’t give me my flowers? Everybody quiet, bruh. They don’t wanna be on my side and be looked at like, ‘You supporting Boosie.’ But they’ll give Kanye his flowers, people like that,” Boosie says in the clip.
“Ain’t nobody raise more motherfuckers than me, bro. Not just street n-ggas, athletes, all kinds […] Can’t nobody f-ck with me making real music … When you raise somebody, that’s different.”
Boosie says that people are hated for being “real.”
Ye claimed he is responsible for influencing the sounds of Future, Young Thug, The Weeknd, Travis Scott and Drake.
