Boosie Badazz sat down with Math Hoffa where he was asked about his recent arrest for firearms.
“This sh-t happened plenty of times. My boy gonna say it’s his guns when they come to the ca. That’s what they do…the youngest person in the clique for all of time around you. People do that seven different times in the clique. Who’s ever not convicted they just take the charge for the pistol,” he told Hoffa.
He continued: “I have people with me who are not convicted and when we fly out they check the guns in legally. Get the guns from the baggage claim, legally. I can’t have guns so I gotta be protected by security and my homeboys.”
Many people believe this is the reason for Boosie’s recent federal arrest.
The Louisiana-based rapper was released on a $100,000 bond after his arrest in San Diego last month on firearm possession charges.
According to Fox 5, in a court document, the U.S. Attorney cited allegations that the rapper threatened his bodyguard for not claiming ownership of the guns while the two were in custody, reportedly telling him “you’re gonna’ be in a body bag.”
