Boosie Badazz Apologizes For Hurtful Comments About Daughter

Boosie Badazz has responded to the backlash over comments he made about his gay daughter, aspiring rapper Poison Ivi, and says he never meant to hurt her.

“Never meant to hurt you,” he captioned several old photographs of him and Iviona. “Daddy bby.”

Boosie made the controversial comments a live recording of her podcast, Caresha Please, where he claimed that he did not want Ivi around her other siblings for fear she would “contaminate” them.

Ivi responding, saying that she has a strong relationship with her siblings and that when they are upset with their father, they call her for comfort and advice.

Boosie then took aim at all of his critics, who he says are trying to make him look like a bad parent.

“Yall won’t make me look like a bad father,” he wrote. “I love my kids I’m a good father.”

In separate posts he added, “God got us,” “We good,” and “What is understood doesn’t need to be said.”
