Bodyguard of MEGAN THEE STALLION’s ex-friend, Kelsey Harris says that Kelsey shot Megan

Media Take Out Staff |

A shocking new claim has surfaced in the case involving Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion, and it is already sending shockwaves across social media.

According to statements released by Tory Lanez’s legal team, a man identified as the former bodyguard and driver for Kelsey Harris has come forward with explosive allegations about what really happened the night Megan was shot.

The bodyguard, identified as Mr. James, reportedly told attorneys that he was not bound by any nondisclosure agreement and chose to speak out because of his conscience. According to the statement attributed to him, he could no longer stay silent while, in his view, someone was incarcerated for something they did not do.

In his account, Mr. James claims that Kelsey allegedly had possession of the firearm and fired it three times during an altercation. He further alleges that Tory intervened by grabbing her arm and forcing it downward, at which point the weapon discharged two additional times.

This version of events, according to Tory’s legal team, aligns with testimony previously given by eyewitness Shaun Kelly, who stated during trial proceedings that he saw two women fighting while two men attempted to break up the altercation. Kelly testified that he observed one man grabbing a woman’s arm before additional shots were fired, and that the gunfire appeared to come from the passenger side of the vehicle, where Kelsey was seated.

The new claim also raises questions about forensic evidence presented at trial. According to the defense’s statement, DNA recovered from the firearm reportedly matched Tory Lanez, but did not identify Kelsey Harris or the driver as contributors.

It is important to note that these statements come from Tory Lanez’s legal team and an individual associated with the defense narrative. The claims have not been independently verified in court as part of a new ruling, and there has been no official legal determination reversing the original verdict.

Tory Lanez was convicted in December 2022 on felony charges related to the shooting and is currently serving his sentence. Megan Thee Stallion testified during the trial that Tory was the one who shot her following an argument after a party in Los Angeles.

So far, Megan Thee Stallion, Kelsey Harris, and prosecutors have not publicly responded to these new claims.

The case has remained one of the most controversial and debated incidents in modern hip hop, with strong opinions on all sides. This latest development is likely to intensify that debate even further.

Whether these new allegations lead to any formal legal action or court review remains to be seen.
