Bobbi Althoff is stepping into reality TV and has been announced as part of the cast for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives: Orange County, a new spinoff based in Southern California.
Hulu confirmed the lineup.
Althoff will appear alongside Madison Bontempo, Aspyn Ovard, Avery Woods and Salomé Andrea, as well as Chandler Higginson, Ashleigh Pease and McCall DaPron.
The streaming service offered a preview of what viewers can expect from the new series.
“A new group of dynamic young mothers in Orange County collide in a community where beliefs are not just their religion; they are their identity,” the description reads. “While some defend their way of life, fighting against modernity, others embrace change, becoming a platform to disrupt the status quo.”
According to the announcement, the show will follow friendships tested by shifting values, with “scandals and secrets” coming to light as the women balance family life and online influence.
The casting news comes as the original series continues to generate attention, with production moving forward after a recent pause tied to an ongoing situation involving one of its cast members, Taylor Frankie Paul.
Taylor has faced ongoing legal scrutiny tied to a domestic incident involving her ex-boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen. Authorities launched an investigation after a reported altercation, and footage later surfaced showing a heated confrontation between the two. Mortensen filed for a protective order, adding another layer to the situation as it played out publicly. Prosecutors ultimately announced they would not pursue charges.
