Over the weekend, news broke that Jeezy abruptly filed to divorce his wife of 2 and a half years, Jeannie Mai. And Media Take Out learned that the divorce filing came just one month after the couple took a romantic trip to Vietnam.
And while details of the split haven’t yet come out, it appears that Jeezy is pretty upset with his soon-to-be ex wife, Just a few hours after news of the divorce leaked, the Snowman rapper posted a very shade-filled post on Instagram – saying he’s “too focused on who he’s becoming to focus on who’s not coming with [him].”
Now Black Twitter is suggesting that somehow Jeannie’s co-host Mario Lopez, who is happily married, may have had something to do with it. Media Take Out looked at the evidence, and there appears to be ZERO evidence that Mario is in anyway involved in the split.
But Black Twitter doesn’t care about evidence.
The tweeters are pointing to a religious tweet that Mario dropped just hours after Jeannie’s divorce news became public. Mario wrote that, “God always shows on time, Keep praying.” He added that we should, “always trust in God, His timing is perfect.”

Doesn’t seem like anything out of the ordinary to us …. but Black Twitter is having a field date circulating unfounded rumors.
